ATMC Announces Officers And Directors For 2015

The Automotive Training Managers Council (ATMC) has announced its officers and directors for 2015. Holly Gerke, manager of technical training for Penske Truck Leasing was re-elected as board chair, with Michael Loth, training instructor for Robert Bosch serving as vice chair.

Holly Gerke, manager of technical training for Penske Truck Leasing was re-elected as board chair, with Michael Loth, training instructor for Robert Bosch serving as vice chair. Chris Chesney, senior director of professional markets for CARQUEST Technical Institute is serving as treasurer, with Tim Zilke, president and CEO of ASE serving as secretary. Bobby Bassett, director of North American training for Gates Corp. continues in the role of past chair.

Also announced were three new directors elected to the board: Jim Boyd, manager of fleet technical services for Southeastern Freight Lines; Stacey Henry, director of education and development for Bridgestone Retail Operations; and Wayne Kosko, service education manager for Navistar. They join current directors: Ron Kato with Toyota Motors Sales USA; John Prosser with American Honda Motor Co.; and Bill Sapielak with Adayana.

“The strength of the organization is in the diverse experience of our membership,” said Dave Milne, ATMC president. “The outstanding advice and support that this group brings to their leadership role is indicative of their commitment to improving the quality of training for the entire industry. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the outgoing board members for their service over the years.”

Transitioning off the board after serving two terms are Rod Boyes with Melior and Steve Lee with Lincoln Educational Services.
