ALI’s Notice To Industry Regarding COVID-19

ALI is limiting staff members and was notified by PSI that they will stop all testing.

As you know, safety has always been a priority at ALI. With the continual changing conditions, we too are responsibly monitoring and taking appropriate precautionary actions to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 virus.

New York businesses, with some exceptions, were ordered Thursday to allow at least 75% of their employees to work from home. As a result, ALI has taken a firm stance to obey this requirement and will have two members of staff working in the office each day for the foreseeable future, until this government mandate is lifted. We will be available through [email protected] regularly and will respond as soon as possible.

ALI was also notified by PSI that they will stop all testing. This directly affects all of the candidates in ALI’s Lift Inspector Certification Program. They are working to contact candidates scheduled starting within the next 48 hours first to reschedule them, then moving on to other candidates scheduled in future weeks.

Our call center is working through those reschedules now, in real time. Candidates can reschedule up to and include the day of testing at no penalty, of course. In most cases, this can be done online, without needing to call our call center. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please understand that this is part of our effort to be a good corporate citizen, and we do appreciate y/our patience during this time. Our thoughts go out to all of those who are being impacted. We will update you when we are return to a regular operating schedule.

Stay healthy and always remember, your safety is riding on it.

Sincerely,

Your ALI team
