Businesses Breathe A Sigh Of Relief As Restrictions Ease

States begin to see a return of retail and recreation business as COVID cases continue to fall.

According to a commentary by Amy Antenora, editor of AftermarketNews.com, there is good news in the U.S. on our fight against COVID-19. “Daily case numbers are down nearly 80% from peak levels, and vaccines are now available to all adults nationwide,” Amy says, pointing out that many state and local governments are responding by loosening or lifting restrictions that have hampered businesses across the country.

Businesses are breathing a collective sigh of relief. Amy shares survey results from the Bureau of Labor Statistics that show that more than half of U.S. businesses experienced reduced consumer demand as a result of the pandemic, leading to job losses and lost income.
