In a post-show attendee satisfaction survey, 95 percent of those who attended AAPEX 2016 gave it a positive score and recommendation. AAPEX represents the $740 billion global automotive aftermarket industry and is held annually at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas.

According to survey results, the No. 1 reason buyers attend AAPEX is to find new products and innovation. Buyers also attend AAPEX to locate new suppliers, expand their network and expand and diversify their service offerings. At AAPEX 2016, buyers had the opportunity to visit more than 2,200 automotive aftermarket manufacturers and suppliers from 30 countries.

On the post-show exhibitor satisfaction survey, manufacturers and suppliers gave AAPEX 2016 equally high marks. AAPEX received a 95 percent satisfaction rating from exhibitors, with 86 percent saying they consider the event a good to excellent investment of time and money.

AAPEX surveys its attendees and exhibitors each year and publishes an official “By the Numbers” report with results and data.

AAPEX 2017 will take place Tuesday, Oct. 31, through Thursday, Nov. 2. The event is expected to feature more than 2,200 exhibitors and 44,000 targeted buyers. Approximately 158,000 automotive aftermarket professionals from more than 140 countries are projected to be in Las Vegas during AAPEX and the SEMA Show.

AAPEX is co-owned by the Auto Care Association and the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA), the light vehicle aftermarket division of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA).
