MEMA Urges Governor To Veto Michigan Legislation Amending State Motor Vehicle Service And Repair Law
Last week, the Michigan legislature finalized a bill that discourages the use of aftermarket and remanufactured parts used during vehicle repairs. On June 15, the Automotive Service Association (ASA) will hold a webinar on the U.S. Department of Labor’s (DOL) Overtime Rule. The rule updates the regulations governing which executive, administrative and professional employees are entitled to the Fair Labor Standards Act’s minimum wage and overtime pay protections.
