Bosch has announced the re-launch of boschdiagnostics.com in North America, continuing to update all of its sites to a mobile-responsive, intuitive design. The URL contains three separate sites, featuring DIY diagnostic tools (DIY), professional diagnostic tools (PRO) and crash data retrieval (CDR) tools.

The Automotive Management Institute (AMI) – in conjunction with Arrowhead Automotive Aftermarket, a division of Arrowhead General Insurance – has announced the recipient of the Arrowhead Automotive Aftermarket “High Octane” scholarship. The recipient is Taylor Hill, service consultant, Larson’s Service Inc., Peabody, Massachusetts.

The Automotive Service Association (ASA) believes the legislation will benefit both consumers and automotive repairers in the state of Michigan. If implemented, this bill would amend the insurance code to prohibit insurers from requiring automotive repairers to use a specific vendor or process to procure parts and other materials, allowing shop owners to do business with the vendors they choose.

The U.S. Senate passed Senate Resolution 196 (S. Res. 196) designating July 10, 2015 as “Collector Car Appreciation Day.” The resolution was requested by the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) and its Automotive Restoration Market Organization (ARMO) and Hot Rod Industry Alliance (HRIA) Councils. The date marks the sixth commemoration in what has become an annual event to celebrate and raise awareness of the vital role automotive restoration and collection plays in American society.
