As the "Chase" heats up, Federated will continue to be in the thick of the action. As the “Chase” heats up, Federated will continue to be in the thick of the action. After sponsoring the Federated Auto Parts 400 on Sept. 6, the last race before the “Chase,” Federated has announced it also will be the presenting sponsor of the ESPN broadcast of the NASCAR Sprint Cup race on Nov. 2 at Texas Motor Speedway.

“The race at Texas Motor Speedway will get a lot of national attention. By that time, there will be only three races left in the season and the AAA Texas 500 will be the next to the last race in the ‘Eliminator Round of the Chase,’” said J.R. Bishop, motorsports and event marketing director for Federated.

At the start of the Nov. 2 race, there will be eight drivers left who have a chance to win the season championship. If one of those eight drivers wins the race at Texas Motor Speedway, they will automatically qualify as one of the four drivers eligible to compete for the season championship in the final race of the season, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship held Nov. 16 in Miami, Fla.

“NASCAR fans will be sure to be tuned into ESPN on Nov. 2, so this race will be great exposure for Federated and our members,” said Bishop. “As the presenting sponsor on ESPN, Federated will have its logo and messaging throughout the race broadcast on billboards and other on-air graphics as well as audio mentions. We are excited to be a part of the ‘Chase’ and look forward to a great day of racing on ESPN.”
