The event will kick off with a welcome reception on the evening of Monday, April 24, sponsored by Federated Insurance. On Tuesday, April 25, all ASA members are invited to attend a board of directors meeting, where board members for 2017-’18 will be sworn in during special ceremonies.
The webinar covered periodic motor vehicle safety inspection programs and new safety technologies, featuring guests such as Doug Campbell, president, Automotive Safety Council, and Representative Madeleine Dean (PA-153).
Shop owners and managers attending the two-day training sessions will receive credit from the Automotive Management Institute toward earning their Automotive Accredited Manager designation.

The Automotive Service Association (ASA) held its “Celebration of Excellence” awards ceremony Aug. 12 at the Sheraton Park Hotel in Anaheim, California. The Celebration of Excellence is a traditional awards ceremony honoring the achievements of ASA members and its industry partners. Alongside the awards ceremony, the Automotive Management Institute (AMi) held its annual graduation ceremony for its recent graduates and where industry partners were also recognized.
The forum consisted of several segmented discussions focusing on topics such as cybersecurity, consumer privacy and government oversight. Attendees heard from experts representing entities from across the automotive industry and the federal government.
