MDI 2 is a communications device that manages the transfer of data between a GM vehicle’s Electronic Control Unit (ECU) network and a personal computer. The MDI 2 adds enhanced connectivity, plug-and-play setup, operation during engine cranking, extended temperature range, rugged design and many additional improvements.
The contest challenged GM ASEP students across the U.S. to produce creative social media content to inspire other students to consider careers as automotive technicians. The winning school receives prizes, including ACDelco gear and automotive tools.
Robert Sanford is responsible for ACDelco’s business strategies and overall performance. He joined GM in 1982 and has served in a variety of service, sales, aftersales and management roles with the company.
