MACS has taken the industry-standard mobile A/C training seminar and broken it down into three core components: How mobile A/C works, testing and troubleshooting, and best practice repair methods.

An impartial panel of the automotive press determined four winners from the new products featured at the Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Worldwide Trade Show, which took place Feb. 12 at the Caribe Royale Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

The MACS Board of Directors has 13 members: four members representing service and repair, four members representing distribution, four members representing manufacturing and the past chairman.

Registration is now open for the Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Worldwide’s 2016 Training Event and Trade Show, which is scheduled to take place Feb. 11-13, 2016, at the Caribe Royale all-suite hotel and convention center in Orlando, Florida.

The Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Worldwide and MACS member RANSHU have joined forces to host a diagnostics-centered training event for heavy-duty and off-road vehicle A/C technicians from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. PST on Saturday, March 21 at RANSHU’s new warehouse facility in Sparks, Nev.

The Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Worldwide will roll out a new Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Technician Certification Training Program on Jan. 1, 2015. MACS will initiate proctored training, self-study training and online training simultaneously on that date.

A key program of interest during the 2015 MACS Training Event and Trade Show will be a luncheon presentation on Saturday, Feb. 7 with MACS technical adviser Ward Atkinson, who will explore the potential impact of multiple refrigerants and new regulations on the mobile A/C vehicle manufacturer and service industry, and ask the question, “Will history repeat itself?”
