The SERVICE-EDU Avondale event kicks off from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, April 29, with dinner, orientation, networking and Bogi Lateiner’s keynote presentation, “Not Your Father’s Auto Shop.”

SERVICE-EDU was created as a joint effort so that more value could be provided to technicians by offering training in multiple product categories during a single training event. Each manufacturer’s training courses, focused on their unique category of expertise, include classroom and hands-on instruction on proper system troubleshooting, advanced service techniques and component replacement.

MAHLE Aftermarket Inc. announced the 2015 MAHLE Engine Builders of the Year for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, Xfinity Series and Camping World Truck Series. The MAHLE Engine Builder of the Year award is presented to the top engine builder in each of the NASCAR series who accumulated the most points based on qualifying, laps led and finishing position.

MAHLE Aftermarket Inc. recently named Minnesota-native Paul Nelson as the fifth annual MAHLE Aftermarket Champion Technician. Nelson was awarded the title based on his entry in the MAHLE Aftermarket Champion Technician contest, which is designed to honor the skills and experience of engine technicians and specialists nationwide.

MAHLE Aftermarket Inc. has incorporated innovative augmented reality technology into its series of SMART PART(ner) advertisements that enables the print material to come to life. Augmented reality has been implemented into advertisements promoting MAHLE Original filters, thermostats and turbochargers, as well as Victor Reinz gaskets.
