Thirty-six different companies from both OEM and aftermarket segments sponsored the individual technician recognition awards in the auto, truck, collision, parts and service categories, along with awards for automotive instructors.
The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) has announced changes that will offer an enhanced experience for professionals when taking tests to earn ASE certification.
The associations work together to recognize professional technicians who have tested and obtained ASE certification in 22 specialty areas during the 2016 test administered by ASE.
The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence notes that vehicle owners who keep on top of maintenance and service schedules can extend the life of their vehicles, will see better gasoline mileage and can rest easier, knowing they have lessened the odds of a mechanical breakdown.
