The Honda Accord, Volvo XC90 And Lincoln Navigator were named as the winners for Car of the Year, Utility Vehicle of the Year and Truck of the Year, respectively.
“SUVs and light trucks largely carried the U.S. diesel market in 2016 in addition to smaller numbers of luxury cars and SUV diesel options,” said Allen Schaeffer, executive director of the Diesel Technology Forum.
