The annual event, which follows three full days of activity at the Las Vegas Convention Center, takes place Thursday, Nov. 7, at the nearby Westgate Hotel.
SEMA Showgoers are encouraged to use hotel shuttles and the Las Vegas Monorail to get to and from the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Tuesday-Friday, Nov. 5-8, as parking will be impacted by construction at the Las Vegas Convention Center during the event in early November.
The SEMA Young Guns competition is open to anyone 27 or younger (as of Nov. 8, 2019) who builds their vehicle primarily on their own. Participants can submit an application for an opportunity to be chosen by SEMA for one of the qualifying rounds at a Street Machine Nationals event.
This initiative enables SEMA to reach and introduce students to the excitement and opportunities in motorsports, whether as a spectator, career or an overall lifestyle.
Created in 1969, the SEMA Hall of Fame recognizes people who have contributed a significant body of work to the industry over a long period of time and is the most prestigious award presented to an individual by the association.
