The conference, which takes place Feb. 18-20 in Charlotte, North Carolina, provides attendees with dynamic speakers and workshops and updates on industry trends.
The 2019 Automotive Communications Awards were announced recently at the Women in Auto Care Awards Ceremony and reception, which took place during AAPEX 2019 in Las Vegas.
The Women of the Year Awards include the “Auto Care Woman of the Year,” “Auto Care Woman of Excellence” and “Female Shop Owner of the Year,” which annually recognize the outstanding female contributors making a difference in the automotive industry.
The group’s scholarship funding began with $2,000 in 2004 and has now expanded ten-fold to more than $100,000 for the second year in a row. Since 2004, Women in Auto Care has given $457,000 in scholarships.
The second annual Women’s Leadership Conference is co-hosted by Women in Auto Care and AIA Canada and will bring women in the auto care industry together for a meeting of ideas, insight and influence.
The conference will take place Aug. 7-8 at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.
Award recipients will be honored at the Women in Auto Care press conference and reception during the 2019 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX), taking place Nov. 5-7 in Las Vegas.

The three recipients of the Women of the Year Awards will be recognized at the Women in Auto Care press conference and awards ceremony from 4-5 p.m. on Oct. 30 in Las Vegas.
Celebrating success throughout the industry, the Women in Auto Care Awards and Press Conference will announce the winners of the 2018 Women of the Year Awards, which honor three women who are making exceptional contributions to the automotive industry, and also will announce the winners of the Automotive Communications Awards, which recognize companies and agencies that provide automotive information through outstanding advertising, marketing and public relations efforts.
This year, the $100,000 is comprised of $75,000 in scholarship funds and $25,000 in tool sets. Women in Auto Care selected 30 women as the recipients of this year’s scholarships.
This year’s award season includes the Women of the Year Awards and the Automotive Communications Awards.
