Tri-State Enterprises Named AAM Member Of The Year

The AAM Group recognized top distribution performers at annual meeting held in May.

The AAM Group honored Tri-State Enterprises as its 2021 Member of the Year at the AAM Group Annual Membership Meeting, held virtually May 18-20. Each year, AAM makes this selection based on five key metrics: Active Participation, Growth as a Percentage, Marketing Participation, Participation in Group Buys, and Product Line Compliance. For its win, Tri-State received a custom trophy and an exclusive painting commissioned from automotive artist Jim Caswell.

“We are honored to have received this prestigious award,” said Tri-State Enterprises Owner and President Tristan Taylor. “To be chosen from such a great list of members is a privilege. We certainly value our membership with The AAM Group and feel that AAM works hard for all its stakeholders (members, vendors & resellers) to create great opportunities for each.  I truly feel it is the Tri-State team that makes the difference. Without them, we would not be the success that we are today!”

“AAM’s Member of the Year award is the highest honor our group bestows annually,” said AAM President Tim Odom. “It reflects excellence in contributions and support across the primary components that help determine the success of the member, the group, and our supplier partners.  We are very pleased to name the Tri-State team as this year’s honoree, placing them among our two-time winners of this recognition.”

The AAM meeting also saw awards given to the winners in each of the aforementioned individual categories. Recipients included Competition Specialties Inc. (Product Line Compliance), Midstates (Active Participation), and overall-winner Tri-State (Participation in Group Buys), while AllPro Distributing took home Growth as a Percentage and Marketing Participation honors.
